1. 스페이스X는 편도 1시간이 넘는 스쿨버스 노선에 초점을 맞춰 스타링크 인터넷 서비스를 제공할 예정입니다.

 

SpaceX is focusing on school bus routes that are over an hour long each way and are also predominantly inaccessible to other mobile broadband services. In a letter addressed to FCC Secretary Marlene Dortch, SpaceX expressed its support for the agency’s efforts to fund the Schools and Libraries Universal Service Support Mechanism (E-Rate program) connecting millions of students who don’t have access to broadband internet.

2. 테슬라가 미국 고객용으로 새로운 CCS 어댑터를 추가했습니다.

 

최대 충전 속도는 250kW 이며, 타사의 충전소에서 사용할 수 있습니다.

 

Tesla added a CCS adapter to its shop for U.S. customers. The adapter offers charging speed up to 250kW and can be used at third-party charging stations. The CCS Combo 1 Adapter may not be compatible with every Tesla so Tesla owners are encouraged to double-check to make sure it is before purchasing it.

3. 기가 텍사스가 50만 평방 피트 확장을 위해 기존의 계획의 수정 신청서를 제출했습니다.

 

이번의 확장은 생산을 위한 확장보다는 생태 공원(Ecological paradise plans)을 위한 확장으로 보입니다.

 

기가 텍사스는 이런 식의 추가 확장 신청을 했었는데, 1) 6월에는"General Assembly 2와 General Assembly 3"를 위해 50만 평방 피트 확장 신청, 2) 7월에는 생산 지원 지역을 위해 건설 신청, 3) 8월에는 BESS 구축 승인을 받았습니다.

 

Tesla has revised its application for Giga Texas to reveal a potential 500,000 square foot expansion of the automaker’s electric vehicle production factory located outside of Austin. Tesla added 12 acres to the site’s limits of construction, while adding 522,720 feet of space to the limit. CEO Elon Musk told Teslarati the expansion will accommodate the automaker’s plans for an “ecological paradise” at the factory.

This filing follows several other Gigafactory Texas expansion projects, which Tesla has planned for in the past year. In late June, Tesla filed to expand General Assembly 2 and General Assembly 3 by 500,000 square feet. Additionally, Tesla filed in mid-July to build on a 68.11-acre plot adjacent to the factory. It was listed as a “Production Support Area.”

The most recent development took place in mid-August when Tesla’s application to build a massive battery energy storage system (BESS) project at Gigafactory Texas was approved. The project is listed as a 53.27-acre land plot that will house Tesla Megapacks to support the energy grid by storing excess energy produced by solar panels.
