1. 미 상원 재무위원회가 전기차 보조금 법안 'Clean Energy for America'  발의 내용을 공개했습니다. 

 

• 이전에는 판매대수가 20만대 이후부터는 보조금을 받지 못했지만, 미국 연간 전기차 판매가 총 자동차 판매량의 50%에 도달할 때까지 보조금을 지급합니다.
• 연방정부 보조금 $ 7,500 은 유지하고, 미국 현지생산 차량은 $ 2,500, 전미노조 가입시 $ 2,500 추가 지원입니다.
• 차량 가격이 $80,000 넘어가면 보조금 지급을 받지 못합니다.

정리해보면, 테슬라 같은 경우는 이 법안이 시행되면, 모델3, Y, S($ 79,990 기종), 사이버 트럭이 $ 10,000 지원을 받을 것으로 보여집니다. 

 

언제 시행될지 아직은 모르지만, 그 전까지 미국 내에서의 차량 판매가 조금은 둔화될 수도 있겠다는 생각이 드네요. 지원금 다 받고 사는게 현명하니까요.

 

Perhaps the biggest addition to the , besides the value, is that there will be no cap to how many vehicles a manufacturer can sell before they no longer qualify for the credit. The current EV tax credit only allows OEMs to sell 200,000 electric cars before they no longer qualify for the credit; Tesla and GM are the only two companies that have reached this threshold. The credit would eventually phase out after three years, once 50% of U.S. passenger vehicle sales are composed of electrified models.

The possible $5,000 on top of the $7,500 will only apply to manufacturers that can offer both unionized workers and U.S.-based production efforts. Unfortunately, this will only allow , still a hefty sum that could take up to 25% off of the base price of a vehicle if the car buyer is purchasing a Standard Range+ Model 3. Volkswagen, Toyota, Nissan, and Honda would also not qualify for the full $12,500 EV credit because they do not have U.S. unionized workers.

A recently-published 
on the Cybertruck’s user interface has now provided further hints that the all-electric pickup’s actual range may really be far above its initial “500+-mile” estimate. As could be seen in 21 out of the UI patent’s 33 drawings, the Cybertruck’s range was listed as 610 miles. This was quite interesting considering that the patent’s illustrations appeared to be screenshots from the Cybertruck’s upcoming UI.

Tesla’s Cybertruck UI patent featured several other interesting references to the all-electric pickup’s novel features. These include the use of eye tracking technology to adjust the vehicle’s mirrors, as well as an air conditioning system that tracks passengers for optimum climate control. Several images from the patent also hint at the Cybertruck pulling a 20,000-pound trailer, as well as 20 inches of suspension travel.
