1. 우리 나라 시간으로 어제 오후 4시경, 리미티드 FSD 베타 9.0 이 업로딩 되었습니다.

 

지금까지의 사용평을 정리해봤습니다.

• 레이더가 필요 없이 비전만으로 자율주행, 최고속도 제한을 80mph로 상향
• 부드러워진 Screen Render 
• 차 주변 환경이 선명하게 표시됨(도로 선, 세단, SUV, 트럭, 사람, 반려견 등)
• 앞 차량의 브레이크 및 깜박이 등 표시
• 캐빈 카메라(Cabin Camera)가 운전자의 부주의함을 확인하면, 주의를 기울이도록 청각 경보 제공
• 다만, 완벽한 자율주행을 위해서는 카메라 설치를 늘려, 사각을 없애 한다는 소수 의견이 있음

Early in the morning of July 10, Tesla began distributing V9 software for FSD Beta with improved ‘mind of car’ UI visualization. The first photos and videos using the software show tremendous improvements in rendering and some other things not covered in the release notes.

At midnight on Friday, Tesla sent emails to FSD beta testers with new information about V9 beta. The company has confirmed that Tesla Vision, which does not require radar, will be included in this update, as well as a raised top speed limit to 80mph. Since the update was downloaded at midnight, there are still not a lot of videos and experience descriptions available at the moment, however we can get a general idea.

The biggest and most significant improvement that is already noticeable is the ‘mind of car’ UI visualization. This is really impressive, as objects from the vehicle's environment are clearly displayed on the screen. We can see that the car clearly defines the type of vehicles around it by drawing sedans, SUVs, and trucks.

Also in the release note, Tesla said that the Cabin Camera above the rear-view mirror can now detect driver inattentiveness, who is distracted from the road, and give sound signals as a reminder. This feature is only designed to remind drivers to be alert and camera images do not leave the vehicle.

말이 필요 없고, 영상 보시면 정말 놀랍니다.

 

그 무엇보다, 이 버전이 '베타'라는 사실에 충격이고, 앞으로는 더 도조와 함께 성장할 것이며,

한달은 모르겠지만, 그리 길지 않는 시간에 공개 버전으로 풀릴 것으로 생각됩니다. 리뷰가 더 올라와야 하겠지만, 완성도가 굉장히 높네요.

2. 트위터 @kelvinyang7 이 레딧에 올라온 4680 배터리셀 사진을 올려서 논란이 있었습니다.

 

개발자들의 sign 이 있었고, 머스크의 싸인도 있었죠.

 

주주들이 검증을 하고 있는데, 개인적으로는, 아무래도 초기 양산 제품을 만든 것 같습니다.

(물론, 진위여부 확인이 되어야 하고, 머스크가 답해주는 것이 가장 확실하겠죠.)

 

그렇게 생각하는 이유는, 팩 구조가 예전에 공개한 디자인과 같고, 개발/생산 위치가 카토 로드로 생각되며, 싸인의 이름들이 실제 개발자들의 이름과 같습니다. 또한, 시기적으로도 세미와 사이버 트럭 양산 시스템을 갖출 타이밍이고요. 

 

아마, 기가 베를린이 계획대로 7월말 스타트였으면, 4680 배터리 팩 기술을 공유하여 양산을 시작했을 것입니다.

 

개인적으로는, 이번 FSD와 4680 배터리 팩으로 인해, 테슬라 주식을 보유하지 않은 많은 사람들이 FOMO를 느낄 것으로 보이며, 내연기관 업체들은 이미 망연자실 상태일 것으로 예상합니다.
