Tesla Giga Shanghai could produce about 500,000 vehicles in 2021, according to the company's Policy and BD in India. This confirms the previously voiced goal of Grace Tao, Vice President of Tesla China, and indicates the company's active efforts to reach this milestone.

Tesla Giga Shanghai continues to actively ramp up production to meet the rapidly growing demand for the manufacturer's electric vehicles. While Tesla did not release production forecasts for 2021, reports emerged earlier this year that Giga Shanghai plans to produce 450,000 vehicles. As soon as the November delivery data was released, it became clear that in the first 11 months of this year, Tesla Giga Shanghai delivered 413,283 vehicles, up 242% from the same period last year. Thus, obviously, the plant will easily surpass the forecast made at the beginning of the year.

Tesmanian reported in early December that Grace Tao, Vice President of Tesla China, said in an interview that Giga Shanghai could achieve its goal of producing 500,000 vehicles this year. This would require the factory to produce nearly 87,000 vehicles in December, which seems unlikely, but there are signs that the Chinese factory is pushing for it.

Tesla has several large-scale Supercharger locations in Nevada, especially in Las Vegas. The Sin City is home to six Tesla Supercharging Stations, with the largest being located at the High Roller at The LINQ. It has 24 charging stalls and 15 additional level-two Tesla Wall Connectors for extended stay guests. The new Station at Primm Valley Resort will displace the High Roller at the LINQ as the largest, with eight additional Supercharger stalls.
