1. 머스크가 인도를 완전 포기한것 같지는 않지만 확실히 난항을 겪고 있습니다.

인디아의 수입 관세가 너무 비싸고, 관세를 낮추기 위해서는 제조 및 생산 시설을 만들어야 하는데 EV에 대한 큰 관심이 없는 시장에 쉽사리 공장 건설 결정을 할 수 없기 때문입니다.

예전 어닝콜에서는 올해 새 팩토리 부지를 물색하고 내년 공장 건설 발표를 한다고 언급했었는데, 타이밍 잘 맞춰 주길 바래봅니다.

At the moment, the question is that Tesla wants to study the real demand in the local market before building a manufacturing plant there. However, the import duty on cars in India is prohibitively high, making it difficult to achieve the company's market research goal. The lower duty can only be obtained if the manufacturer establishes an assembly or manufacturing facility in India. However, investing money in building a factory in a market that may not end up showing enough interest in EVs is too risky, so Tesla is trying to find some sort of compromise.

3. 기가 텍사스에서 4680 배터리팩 장착 구조의 모델Y 바디가 목격되었습니다.

Tesla has developed its own 4680 batteries and initially intends to install them in Model Ys made at Giga Texas and Giga Berlin. A Model Y body without bottom has been spotted at Giga Texas, suggesting a 4680 cell structured battery pack would be installed there.

4. 싱가포르 Millenia Walk Mall에 테슬라 첫 전용 매장이 오픈되었습니다.

사담이지만 싱가포르에서 두리안 먹던 시절이 그립네요. 확실히 경제적인 수준 면에서 싱가포르도 나쁘지 않은 EV 시장이겠죠.

On January 15, Tesla Singapore opened the doors of its new dedicated retail store located in the Millenia Walk mall. Here, customers can get acquainted with the manufacturer's cars, make individual settings before ordering, and get a test drive. The store came a few months after Millenia Walk hosted Tesla's Supercharger V3, the second such location in Singapore.
