3. 머스크에 의하면, 스타링크 위성 서비스를 받는 고객이 25만명을 넘어섰습니다.

 

스타링크 건설 비용에 100억 달러가 넘는 비용이 들어간 것으로 알려져 있으며, 구독료만 고려해 봤을 때 현재까진 약 월 2,500만 달러 매출을 올리고 있습니다.

 

On Monday, February 14, SpaceX founder Elon Musk announced the company’s broadband division now has over 250,000 active Starlink user terminals. The revenue generated long-term from the broadband constellation will assist the company in its effort to build a fleet of 1,000 Starships to build the first self-sustaining city on Mars. 

With 250,000 active customers the company is generating approximately $25 million a month, given the $99 USD per month subscription fee for high-speed internet – that is around $300 million a year. However, the company must pass through a significant amount of negative cash flow before seeing any profit. The entire Starlink constellation is estimated to cost over $10 billion to build.

5. 최근 올라온 인도와의 관련 내용을 보면, 테슬라는 여전히 인도에서 수출 차량만 판매하기를 원하고 있고, 인도에서는 팩토리 건설을 원하여 전체 계획서 제출을 요구하고 있네요.

 

인도의 인구수가 2030년까지 지속 늘어날 것은 맞지만, 머스크의 판단에 팩토리 건설을 위한 좋은 요건은 현재까진 아닌듯 합니다.

India is still waiting for Tesla to submit its complete plans for the country. The automaker seems unwilling to move forward unless government officials are interested in rolling back hefty duties that apply to any imported vehicle. “The government wants to enable Tesla to manufacture vehicles in India. But they have to first submit firm business plans,” the official added.
