1. 테슬라가 비가 오는 것을 감지하면 자동으로 창문 닫는 기능을 추가할 예정이라고 합니다.  

 

사실 완전자율주행을 목표로 하는 테슬라 입장에서는 추가에 어려운 기능이 아닐 것이며, 생활에 필요한 이런 업데이트는 계속 더해지며, 소비자들에게 큰 편리와 편의를 제공할 것이라 생각합니다.

2. 한 소식통에 의하면 기가 상하이의 생산 능력은 폐쇄 전의 70% 라고 합니다. 

 

다시 말해, 하루 약 1,500대 정도의 차량을 생산하고 있다는 말입니다.

Tesla has restored Giga Shanghai production capacity to 70% from pre-lockdown levels, the sources said. It is expected that within this week, the factory will be able to restore production to 100%, and will operate at full capacity in the last month of Q2.

Production at Giga Shanghai is gaining momentum despite continued challenges with COVID-19 in China. Sources told Reuters that the factory has already reached a production capacity of 70% of its previous level. This means that Giga Shanghai is currently producing more than 1,500 vehicles per day, up by 500 units from the start of last week. This rapid ramp-up is a good sign that the factory will soon return to full production.

3. 내일(6월 1일) 상하이의 폐쇄 규제가 풀리게 되어 테슬라 전시장(쇼룸)도 재개장할 예정입니다.

Tesla showrooms and other Shanghai businesses are expected to reopen and resume work after the city’s new rules take effect on Wednesday, June 1, 2022. 

Local Shanghai officials stated that the city would eliminate the whitelist that companies need to qualify for to resume work and production. China created the whitelist to support companies resuming operations while minimizing the impact of the latest Covid outbreak in the supply chain.

4. 캐나다의 올해 1분기 EV 등록은 전년대비 52% 증가했고, 역시나 테슬라가 주도했습니다.

 

Electric vehicle (EV) registrations in Canada saw a 52% increase year-over-year during the first quarter of this year, according to a report from analytics firm IHS Markit. Pure electrics made up 6.2% of all new light vehicle registrations in Canada between January and March, up from 3.7% during the same period last year.

Tesla led the Canadian EV market during Q1, with sales increasing to 12,221 in the quarter. The EV pioneer reported an all-time high of 310,048 deliveries across the globe for Q1, with record revenue of $18.7 billion USD.

5. FAA는 5월 31일(화) 스페이스X 보카 발사장에서 11개월 정도 소요된 스타쉽의 환경평가(PEA)를 발표할 예정입니다. 

 

만약, 좋은 환경평가가 발표된다면, 스타쉽의 첫 번째 궤도 시험 비행은 6월에도 가능합니다.
