1. 머스크에 의하면 프리몬트에서 생산되는 M3 LR의 주문예약을 보류하는 것은 대기열이 길기 때문이며, 생산량이 증대되면 다시 주문예약을 받을 예정이라고 합니다.

 

정리해 보면, '크레딧 혜택을 받는 차량에 집중하기 위해 수요 조절을 하기 위함이다.', '배터리 원자재의 비중 조절 때문이다.'라는 의견들도 있지만

 

가장 상황을 잘 아는 머스크의 트윗을 참고할 때 프리몬트 공장이 지금도 최대 수율을 초과한 상태인데 생산량 램프업을 위해 잠시 닫은 것으로 우선 이해하면 될 것 같습니다.

2-1. 2022년 8월 4일 이후 프리몬트에서 생산되는 테슬라 모델Y에도 새로운 도어 트림(우드 트림)이 적용되었습니다.

 

새로운 도어 트림은 우선 기가 상하이에서 시작됐고, 프리몬트에서 양산되는 모델3에 적용됐으며, 이제는 모델Y에도 반영된 것입니다.

 

The Fremont-made Tesla Model Y is finally getting an updated door trim. Vehicles built after August 4, 2022, are released with the new trim.

Tesla's Fremont factory has finally added updated wood-trimmed door panels to Model Y, according to Drive Tesla
. The update was spotted by Joshua Pickles, who photographed Model Y Performance with a white interior at the Carlsbad Delivery Center in California. Now, the US-made Model Y will also have an aesthetic addition that elegantly complements the car's dashboard trim. Tesla's website design studio has not been updated yet.

Tesla is constantly updating its vehicles with changes and improvements in design and software. The new door trims were on Giga Shanghai cars and later became available on Fremont-built Model 3s. Now Model Y will receive the long-awaited, elegant update.

2-2. 모델Y LR에 일시적으로 Matrix LED 헤드라이트가 장착됩니다. 장착 이유는 헤드라이트가 부족하다네요 ㅎ

Now we have learned the automaker has also made another change to the Model Y, but only to the Long Range variant. According to information obtained by Drive Tesla, matrix LED headlights are now included on some Model Y LR cars. The change is effective for cars built as of August 5, 2022.

Until now, the matrix LED headlights have only been available on the Performance variant, along with the Model 3.

However, the change is unfortunately only temporary. Tesla is currently experiencing a shortage of the non-matrix headlights, so has been forced to switch to using the matrix LED headlights.

3. 하루 전 보도 내용으로, 테슬라는 머신 러닝 & 시스템 컨퍼런스(MLSYS)를 후원하고 최근 업그레이드된 GPU를 선보일 예정이라고 합니다. 

 

이 컨퍼런스는 8월 29일에서 9월 1일까지 진행됩니다. 

Tesla will be sponsoring the Machine Learning & Systems Conference (MLSYS) and showing its recently upgraded GPU, according to Tim Zaman, an Engineering Manager at Tesla. Tesla recently upgraded its GPU supercomputer to 7360 A-100(80GB) GPUs which now makes it Top-7 by GPU count.

Tesla is sponsoring the conference and will have a booth for career opportunities for its AI team. The conference begins on August 29, 2022, and runs through September 1, 2022. Tesla is also holding its second AI Day event
 on September 30th, 2022, and is expected to unveil a working prototype of its humanoid robot, the Optimus Bot.
