1. 기가 베를린은 시의회로부터 확장 승인을 받았습니다. 이로써 100헥타르 이상의 부지를 구매하여 자체 화물 기지(철도역), 훈련시설, 물류용 목적으로 건축-사용할 수 있게 됐네요.

 

찬성은 12표, 반대 6표, 기권 1표였습니다.

Tesla Giga Berlin has received approval for expansion from the city council. Now the company can buy a plot of more than 100 hectares for the railway station, training facilities, and logistics.

Tesla may expand its production facilities in Grünheide near Berlin. The municipal council on Thursday evening agreed to the preparation of a new development plan, with twelve votes in favor, six against, and one abstention. This means that Tesla can buy a plot of more than 100 hectares and build planned facilities on this site. In June, the main committee of the municipal council recommended that the procedure for a new development plan be initiated.

2. 테슬라의 새로운 인사 책임자로 'Chris Winton'이 부임했습니다.

 

이 분은 항공 택배 서비스 회사인 FedEx에서 20년 이상 근무했었고, 올해 봄에  FedEx 부사장 겸 최고 인사 책임자로 취임했었습니다.  FedEx의 정규직 직원은 약 345,000명입니다. 

 

Tesla welcomes Chris Winton as the new head of HR, who has received the title of “Champion of the People.” He is a former FedEx's top HR executive and worked for a company with around 350,000 employees.
