1. 2021년 말, 허츠가 주문했던 테슬라 차량 10만대는 모델3 뿐만이 아니라 모델Y도 포함이라고 합니다.
따라서 모델Y를 렌탈 가능한 EV 라인에 추가한 것이지, 다시 주문한 것은 아니었습니다.
“The Model Ys will be available for rent in late April in select markets where EVs are available.”
Currently, Model 3s are available at various airports across the country, including Washington’s Dulles, Florida’s Fort Lauderdale, Miami, and Orlando International Airports, California’s Los Angeles and San Francisco International Airports, and Georgia’s Atlanta Hartsfield International Airport.
Hertz then told us the Model Ys were included in the original order for 100,000 vehicles, which was not wholly comprised of Model 3 sedans. “These are part of the original order, not incremental,” a Hertz spokesperson told us.
The deal for the 100,000 Tesla vehicles was worth $4.2 billion. Hertz said that additional details regarding the Model Y fleet are set to be released in the coming weeks.

그래서 이를 이용하여 추가했다가 인도 직전에 취소하는 편법이 있었는데, 테슬라에서 이를 포착하고, FSD를 제거하면 배송일이 지연될 것이라는 문구를 추가했습니다.
Tesla made a change to their website earlier this month that allowed customers to significantly shorten their delivery wait time by adding Full Self-Driving Capability to their order.
In the case of a Model Y, you could get your car seven months quicker than if you ordered without FSD Capability.
Since FSD Capability is just a piece of software as opposed to a physical upgrade on the car, this led to a number of customers adding the $10,600 CAD ($12,000 USD) option, with the plan to remove it just prior to delivery.
Tesla appears to have caught onto this and have closed the loophole.
While you can still remove FSD Capability from an existing order, new wording has been added to accounts to say that removing it will delay your delivery.

“It’s a small item, right,” Paul said. “The granting of a mass gathering permit so that Tesla can have a grand opening celebration. I don’t see it that way,” he said. “I see it as an opportunity for us and for you all to do two things.”
Paul, whose last name is DiFiore, according to Bloomberg, went on to detail the lack of community engagement on the project this far, and requested the Commissioner’s Court to “apply pressure on the company to please slow down.”
“Take this analogy: I just moved to a new neighborhood in Austin, and that is Commissioner [Brigid] Shea’s Precinct,” they said. “My partner and I made cookies and made notes and took it to our neighbors and they were reciprocated with thoughtful items and how to if I need tree trimming to let [neighbors] next door know, and we shake hands. What if I moved to the neighborhood and said nothing to anyone for two years? What if I spent every day doing landscaping work and tearing down trees and building stuff and throwing dust all over my neighbors’ houses, and how about re-routing my driveway and discharging polluted water into our neighborhood creek and blocking the street with massive trucks?”
Shea responded, stating Paul’s comments were appreciated, agreeing that Tesla should do more community outreach. “I do think that there is a need for more community outreach and communication and for the Tesla folks listening, I think that you have lots of opportunities to meet more with the community and really form a powerful partnership. So I would really encourage you to do that,” Shea said. “But I am not willing to turn down this permit for this big event they have planned for a while.”
