1. 기가 베를린은 2022년 10월부터 모델Y를 주당 3천대 양산할 계획이며 연말에는 5천대를 생산할 예정입니다.

 

이러한 생산량 증대는 베를린만 하는 것이 아니죠. 

 

Tesla definitely seems to be coming back with a vengeance for the second half of 2022. Amidst reports that Gigafactory Shanghai is targeting an impressive output of 3k vehicles per day after its factory upgrades, Giga Berlin is also reportedly looking to achieve a somewhat similar milestone — 3k Model Y per week starting October 2022. 

If Tesla Germany is successful, it would be a huge victory for Gigafactory Berlin. The facility, after all, was only permitted to start vehicle production this past March. Elon Musk mentioned last month that Gigafactory Berlin was already able to produce 1k Model Y in one week. Tesla SVP of Powertrain and Energy Engineering Drew Baglino also noted in last week’s earnings call that Giga Berlin could hit 5,000 vehicles per week by the end of the year.

2. 기가 상하이는 더 놀랍죠. 8월 7일 모델3 조립 라인 업그레이드가 끝나면 모델3는 하루 1-2천대, 모델Y는 하루 최대 2,200대를 생산하게 됩니다. 주당이 아니고 하루입니다.

When Tesla finishes Giga Shanghai’s upgrades, the factory will have the capacity to produce around 3,000 vehicles per day.

Giga Shanghai is also expected to introduce a third shift of workers to the factory. Tesla China estimates that recent upgrades to the production lines increased the factory’s capacity. In addition to a third shift, the Shanghai gigafactory is expected to produce between 1,000 to 2,000 Model 3 units daily. The Model Y assembly line would have the capacity to produce up to 2,200 units per day.

3. 미국 상원의원 Joe Manchin에 의하면 경제와 기후 법안에 대해 합의했습니다.

 

세부 내용을 정리했습니다.

 

1) 법안이 통과되면 미국의 중하위 소득자가 새 EV($7,500)와 중고 EV($4,000) 구매할 때 크레딧이 주어집니다.

2) 멕시코에서 만들어진 차량은 전액($7,500) 크레딧이 주어지는 것은 아닙니다.

3) 노조 보너스는 없습니다.

4) 2022년 12월 31일 이후에 취득한 EV는 크레딧을 받을 수 있습니다.

5) 크레딧은 10년 후인 2032년 12월 31일에 만료됩니다.

6) $7.5k 소득 기준 : 공동 신고 or 배우자 생존의 경우 $ 300k / 가구주의 경우 $150k

7) 밴, SUV, 픽업 트럭 : $ 80,000 , 기타(세단 등) $ 55,000 을 초과하면 안됩니다.  

 

BREAKING: Senate Democratic Climate & Energy deal includes up to $7,500 consumer tax credit for lower/ middle income individuals to buy new clean vehicles, and $4,000 credit for individuals to buy used-clean vehicles. Made in Mexico vehicles don't qualify for full $7,500.

• EVs acquired after Dec 31, 2022 will qualify for EV credit.
• Credit will expire in 10 years on Dec 31, 2032
• There is no union bonus
• Income threshold for $7.5k: $300k in the case of a joint return or a surviving spouse & $150k in the case of a head of household

Vehicle retail price must not exceed these amounts to qualify for EV credit:
• Vans: $80k
• SUV: $80K
• Pickup Truck: $80k
• Other (Sedans, etc): $55k

This is a big win for @Tesla(and other EV makers).
