1. 2022 연례 주주총회 좋은 분위기 속에 진행되었고, 잘 마쳐졌습니다.
▶ 많은 내용이 나왔지만 개인적으로는 군더더기를 싫어해서 중요하게 생각했던 내용만 올려보겠습니다.
1) 3:1 주식 분할이 통과되었고, 정확한 분할 및 거래 시점은 아직 미정입니다.
Tesla (NASDAQ: TSLA) shareholders approved a proposal that will split the company’s stock at a 3:1 ratio. Shareholders approved the proposal at the company’s annual meeting, dubbed the Cyber Roundup, earlier today.

2) 올해 말 신규 팩토리를 공개할 예정입니다.
부지 선정은 미정으로, 머스크가 가장 많이 들었던 제안은 캐나다였다고 합니다.
Musk stated during a speech at the Cyber Roundup that Tesla “might announce the next Gigafactory location” by the end of 2022.
Interestingly, Musk seemed to hint that he is undecided on the location, allowing audience members to shout out suggestions. For what it’s worth, Musk did say the most heard suggestion was Canada.

3) 자사주 매입이 여러 옵션 중 하나로 고려 중이라고 합니다.
자사주 매입을 싫어하시는 주주분들도 있으시겠지만, 개인적으로는 좋습니다. 현금이 너무 빠르게 쌓이고 있는 상황에 인수할 회사도 많지 않아 보이고, R&D와 제조 설비 투자도 적절히 이뤄지고 있습니다. 때문에 회사에서 주식을 매수하고 소각하여 가치를 높여주는 것도 회사나 주주들에게 의미있어 보입니다.
4) 작년에 3백만명이 테슬라에 지원했습니다. 세계 최고의 인재들이 몰린다는 것은 굉장히 고무적인 일입니다.
5) 기가 팩토리를 10-12개 정도 건설하고 각 팩토리당 150만대에서 200만대까지의 캐파를 고려 중이라고 합니다.
6) 마스터프랜3를 실행할 준비는 아직이며, 지속 가능한 지구를 만드는데 집중할 것입니다.
7) 테슬라에서 사용되는 원자재의 가격은 내려가고 있는 상황입니다.
8) 만약 로보택시, 테슬라 봇 등이 실현된다면 테슬라는 지구상에서 가장 가치 있는 회사가 될 것입니다.
If we do all these things (Robotaxis, Tesla Bot, etc), Tesla will probably be the most valuable company on Earth.

9) 사이버 트럭은 2023년 중반에 대량 생산될 예정입니다.
A lot has changed since 2019. Specs and pricing will be different. There's no way to have anticipated the inflation we've seen and various issues; I can say it will be one hell of a product; Cybertruck production will be in volume production mid-2023.

2. CPCA 에 의하면, 테슬라는 중국에서 7월 약 3만대 가량의 차량을 판매했습니다.
6월에는 7만 7,938대 판매였지만, 7월은 분기 중 첫달이며 생산 라인 확장 때문에 다소 적어보일 수 있습니다.
Tesla sold 30,000 Model 3 and Model Y cars in China in July, which is a strong figure. Over the past month, production at Giga Shanghai has been temporarily suspended for modernization.
According to a report released today by the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA), Tesla sold about 30,000 vehicles in China in July, but more accurate data will be released by the organization at a later date. While this represents a significant decrease from the 77,938 vehicles delivered by Giga Shanghai in the domestic market in June, this is only a slight slowdown ahead of the real car eruption starting as early as August.
