1. 스페이스X가 USSF(미국 우주군) 국가 안보 임무(USSF-67)를 시작하는데, 이전 계획에서 추가되는 미션이 있어, 1600만 달러의 추가 지급 계약 수정을 했습니다.

 

원래는 3억 1,600만 달러였습니다.

 

어떤 국가 안보 임무인지 살펴보니, 적의 미사일 탐지(자동차 크기의 첩보 위성), 미 대통령과 군 지휘관 연결을 위한 통신망 구축이네요.

3. 테슬라가 기가 상하이의 확장을 중단했다는 루머가 많았고, 저도 포스팅 했었는데, 

 

그 루머와 다르게 모든 것이 계획대로 진행되고 있다고 합니다. 

 

5월 13일에는 기자들이 상하이에 방문하여 건설 노동자들과 이야기를 나눴는데, 이들에 따르면, 테슬라의 공장 증설은 평소와 같은 속도로 진행되고 있으며, 가까운 시일 내에 완료될 것으로 예상된다고 합니다. 

On May 13, reporters paid a visit to Giga Shanghai and spoke to the construction workers. Tesla's factory expansion continues at its usual pace and is expected to be completed in the near future, according to their statements. Workers were also seen at a construction site on a plot of land across the street from the factory. A Global Times reporter visited it and found that workers were busy leveling the ground and laying cement. According to one of the workers, the land is due to be completed in a month, possibly to park the new Tesla vehicles that are rolling off the assembly line.

4. 테슬라가 저비용 배터리 거래를 위해 새로운 LFP 셀 공급자(중국 배터리 제조사인 이브 에너지)와 협의 중이라고 합니다. 

 

Tesla is reportedly in talks with Chinese battery maker EVE Energy Co for a potential supply deal for low-cost batteries. EVE’s batteries will reportedly be used to boost Gigafactory Shanghai’s supply chain, as per information related to Reuters by individuals familiar with the matter. 
EVE is noted for producing lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cells, which are affordable to produce but generally have lower density than NCA (nickel cobalt aluminum) batteries, which Tesla also uses. Tesla is already using LFP batteries for its vehicles such as the Made-in-China Model 3 Standard Range Plus currently produced in Gigafactory Shanghai. Tesla’s LFP batteries have so far been supplied by Contemporary Amperex Technology Co (CATL).
