1. 테슬라가 타일 형태의 마이크로 아키텍처를 개선한 도조 웨이퍼 얼라인먼트 구조 특허를 공개했습니다.

 

핵심만 간략히 설명하면 칩 내의 웨이퍼를 더 적절한 곳에 배치&고정 했으며, 지속 개발을 통해 학습률을 높이고 있습니다.

3. 테슬라가 자동차 제조 비용을 57% 절감했습니다.

 

2017년에는 차량을 생산하기 위해 8만 4천 달러를 지출했지만 현재는 3만 6천 달러입니다.

 

Tesla applies continuous improvement in the production of its vehicles and has excelled in this endeavor. According to Tesla's VP of investor relations, the manufacturer has reduced the cost of producing its vehicles by 57% since 2017.

4. Teslarati에 테슬라 IR 책임자인 Martin Viecha 의 의견이 올라왔습니다.

 

해당 기사에서는 로보 택시 출시 이전에 저렴한 EV를 출시해야 한다고 말했다네요. (아마도 그것은 더 많은 테슬라 차량을 보급해야 더 완벽한 FSD를 위한 데이터 수집이 되기 때문이겠죠.)

 

사실 일론은 최근 저렴한 EV 출시보다 로보 택시 출시에 집중하는 모습이었습니다.

 

While speculations of an affordable EV from Tesla have been abounding for years, Elon Musk has taken a conservative stance on the matter. In recent months, Musk has hinted at the idea of Tesla simply releasing a dedicated, futuristic Robotaxi instead of a more affordable EV. Tesla’s Robotaxi will reportedly be made with autonomy in mind, and in the Q2 2022 Update Letter, the vehicle was actually listed as “in development.” 

According to Tesla head of investor relations Martin Viecha, however, the company may need to release a more affordable EV before the rollout of the dedicated Robotaxi. Viecha shared his thoughts during an invite-only Goldman Sachs tech conference in San Francisco. The Tesla executive’s comments were shared to Insider by an attendee of the event.

그런데 개리 블랙이 이 기사를 트윗에 인용하며 저렴한 EV 보급이 필요하다는 말을 했더니 Martin Viecha가 그런 말 한적 없다고 반박했습니다. 

 

개인적으로는 이 주장들 속에서 옳고 그름이 아니라 "로보택시 플랫폼 롤아웃"이라는 단어를  확인했습니다.

 

일론의 지금까지의 스탠스처럼 완벽은 아니지만 고퀄리티 FSD로 무장된 플랫폼을 세상에 선보일 것 같네요.
