1. 텍사스의 일부 EV 충전기 제조업체와 운영자들이 EV 스테이션에 NACS를 포함하라는 주 정부의 명령에 반대했습니다.
이들은 포함하려면 제대로 표준화하고 테스트해야 하는데, 시간이 더 걸린다는 입장입니다.
Texas deferred the vote to grant federal funds to build electric vehicle (EV) chargers amid pushback against the mandate to include Tesla’s North America Charging Standard (NACS) at EV stations.
Three sources familiar with the matter informed Reuters that the Lone Star State deferred the vote, regarding the buildout of EV chargers in Texas, to August 16. A spokesperson from the Texas Department of Transportation confirmed that the vote was removed from the agency’s July agenda.

2. Cox Automotive 에 의하면, 테슬라 차량의 판매량은 늘고 있는데, 경쟁 업체들의 EV 재고 물량은 계속 쌓이고 있다고 합니다.
다시 말해 세계 EV 판매량이 늘고 있는 것은 결국 테슬라의 견인 때문이라는 의미겠네요.
A survey from Cox Automotive estimates that electric vehicle sales in the US auto market could surpass 1 million units for the first time in 2023. Electric cars currently account for about 6.5% of the country’s automotive sector. Cox also found that about 51% of consumers are now considering the purchase of a new or second-hand EV. That’s up from 38% in 2021.
