1. 제 블로그와 트위터를 보시는 분들은 이미 아시겠지만, 최근 중국의 9월 판매량이 예상과 다르게 나오고 있어 관심 있게 보고 있었는데, 어느 정도의 내용을 파악하게 되어 공유합니다.

 

개리 블랙님의 의견을 조금 참고하면,

 

1) 9월 16-30일에 차량을 인도하면 8천 위안(약 159만원) 인센티브를 받지만,

2) 모델Y Std 가격이 5% 인하되면 인하된 가격(약 300만원)에 추가로 보조금 1만 2천 위안(약 238만원)을 받게 됩니다.

 

결국 2) 안을 선택하는 합리적 소비자들로 9월 중국 판매량은 기존 판매 예상보다 약 1만 5천대 정도 떨어지지 않을까 개인적으로는 생각합니다.

 

그러나 여기서 중요한 것은 1) 중국 수요가 줄어든 것이 아니며, 2) 오히려 4분기 판매량이 늘어나 결국 2022년 전체 판매량의 차이는 없다는 점입니다.

 

예전에는 할인된 가격으로 구매하려 했다 오히려 가격이 오르는 바람에 fomo를 느껴 구매자들이 몰렸던 경우도 있었는데  이것은 정말 지극히 단기적이며 아주 작은 이슈 중 하나입니다.

 

어제의 -4.06%의 하락 이유 중 하나가 중국과 유럽에서의 수요 둔화라고 언급하는 사람들도 있는데, 결국 테슬라는 강력한 수요과 그에 알맞는 공급 능력을 함께 보여줄 것입니다.

2. Global Equities Research 의 애널리스트 Trip Chowdhry 가 프리몬트 공장 재방문 후 아주 긍정적인 인상을 받았고, 2022년 4분기 50만대 이상의 차량을 납품할 것으로 추정하고 있습니다. 

 

참고로, 트로이님의 4분기 예측치는 46만 257대입니다.

3. 테슬라 IR 책임자 Martin Viecha 가 최근 트위터에  채용 공고 링크를 공유했으며, 투자자 관계팀을 확장하고 있습니다.

 

테슬라는 기업의 성장과 함께 투자자의 수가 증가하고 있고, 기존 투자자들 중에 계속 지분을 늘리고 있는 투자자들도 있기 때문에 협력을 위해서도 팀을 확장하는 것이 맞습니다.

 

지원자들은 커뮤니케이션과 프리젠테이션 스킬을 가지고 있어야 하고, 최소 10년간의 근무 경력이 있어야 하며, 주식투자, 자동차, 광산 등에 대한 경험이 필요합니다.

 

Tesla is expanding its Investor Relations team. The company is announcing the hiring of an experienced Investor Relations Lead who will be responsible for supporting all Investor Relations at Tesla and will be engaged in interesting and creative activities.

Now, Viecha has personally shared the link to the job on his Twitter, indicating he is very interested, which is not surprising considering he is the head of the department. Obviously, with the growth of the company, the number of its investors is growing, and some of the existing ones continue to increase their stakes, so work with investors should become denser.

4. 테슬라 차량 110만대가 유리창 문제(필요 이상의 강한 힘으로 열고 닫혀지는 이슈)로 리콜이 되었지만 OTA로 해결되었습니다.

 

여기에 일론은 리콜이라는 표현이 정확하지 않고 구식이며 OTA는 작은 무선 소프트웨어 업데이트라고 말했습니다.

Headlines today would likely show that Tesla is recalling almost 1.1 million cars over a safety issue with its vehicles’ windows. While the fault may sound grave to the layman, it should be noted that the issue is fixed with a simple over-the-air software update. 

As per a Safety Recall Report from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), Tesla’s window automatic reversal system affects a total of 1,096,762 vehicles comprised of 2021-2022 Tesla Model S, 2021-2022 Tesla Model X, 2017-2022 Tesla Model 3, and 2020-2021 Tesla Model Y.
