2. 안드레 카파시가 2021년 컴퓨터 비전 및 패턴 인식 컨퍼런스에 참가하여 약 40분간 AI형 신형 컴퓨터를 소개했습니다.

신형 컴퓨터에 대한 특징입니다.

 

• 720 nodes of 8x A100 80GB. (5760 GPUs total)
• 1.8 EFLOPS (720 nodes * 312 TFLOPS-FP16-A100 * 8 gpu / nodes)
• 10 PB of “hot tier” NVME storage @ 1.6 TBps
• 640 Tbps of total switching capacity

참고로, 테슬라 슈퍼 컴퓨터는 학습 속도와 정확도를 현재 컴퓨터에 비해 최소 10배 이상 높이는데 목표를 잡고 있습니다. 신형 슈퍼컴퓨터는 서버 측의 신경망 학습률을 높이기 위해 자체 개발된 것으로 테슬라가 완전 자율주행 자율성 달성에 더욱 가까워 질것으로 판단됩니다.

3. 기가 상하이에서 해외시장용 2분기 차량은 모두 출고했는데, 속도를 늦추지 않고 3분기 수출을 위해 박차를 가하고 있습니다. 

 

기가 상하이는 연말까지 생산량을 45만대까지 끌어올릴 예정입니다. 

Tesla continues to optimize its gigafactory in China. Giga Shanghai currently produces over 310,000 vehicles a year and will increase production to 450,000 units by the end of 2021. This allows the factory to increase not only domestic sales but also exports, and the company is now ready to ship thousands of China-made vehicles around the world.

Production at Giga Shanghai will reach full capacity this year, meaning hundreds of thousands of China-made Tesla vehicles will hit the road around the world. In recent months, the company has been increasing exports and with an increase in production, more and more cars will be sent abroad.

Tesla, along with Penn National Gaming, Etsy, Mosaic, Mohawk Industries, Under Armour, Enphase Energy, and Freeport-McMoRan, is one of the stocks that has not had a great start to 2021 and has suffered a significant slide in comparison to the stock’s 52-week high. A report from Investors.com says that Tesla is poised for a big 52-week stretch as the automaker could hit its stride through major product developments over the next year that should provide a substantial boost to the company’s stock.
