1. 파나소닉의 회계년도 2022년 1분기 재무결과 보고서를 보면 파나소닉이 8월 기가 네바다에서 신규 생산라인 위탁을 준비 중이라고 합니다. 

 

새 라인은 공장에서 14번째 라인이 될 것이며, 처리할 수 있는 양은 10%정도 증가시킬 거라네요.

 

또한, 4680 배터리 셀의 프로토타입 생산은 2021년 일본에서 시작 예정입니다.

 

전기자동차에게 있어서 배터리의 중요성은 누구도 부인할 수 없겠죠. 이러한 점에서 빠른 프로토타입 생산은, 좋네요 ^^

 

Panasonic is stepping up its efforts at Tesla Gigafactory Nevada through a significant expansion of its operations, including investments in new infrastructure to produce higher capacity batteries at a lower cost and adding new employees. The company is launching a new battery production line at the factory in August to meet Tesla's rapidly growing demand. The start of prototype production of the new 4680 cells is scheduled for 2021 in Japan.

According to the Fiscal 2022 First Quarter Financial Results report, Panasonic is preparing to commission a new production line at Tesla Giga Nevada in August. The new line will be the fourteenth line at the factory and should increase its throughput by about 10%. The company made the announcement about expanding at the end of August 2020. Panasonic expected the new production line for car batteries to begin operations in August 2021 and progress is on track to the previously set plan.
