1. 독일 언론에 의하면, 기가 베를린의 추가 증축은 테슬라에 의해 보류되었습니다.

 

그 이유는 테슬라 측에서는 2021년 여름에 기가 베를린에서 생산을 시작하기 원했으나 이후 10월로 미뤄졌고, 현재까지도 최종 승인 시기가 미지수이기 때문입니다. 

 

따라서, 기가 베를린은 최종 승인 후 우선 모델Y와 4680배터리셀 생산에만 주력할 예정입니다.

 

개인적인 생각에 이러한 보도는 독일 정부(경제부)에 대한 압박이 될 수도 있고, 압박을 넘어 승인 과정이 덜 복잡하면서도 입지가 좋은 유럽의 나라 중 한 곳을 선정하는 것도 나쁘지 않은 선택일 것 같습니다. 

 

Tesla's further expansion in Germany beyond existing buildings may be delayed by the manufacturer, German media reported. The company will focus on launching the production of Model Y and battery cells in the battery factory.

Tesla's original plan in Germany was to build a factory capable of producing 500,000 cars per year. In the plans, the manufacturer presented a drawing showing four buildings, the total production capacity of which, as expected, should be two million cars per year. According to initial estimates, Tesla hoped to start production at Giga Berlin in the summer of 2021 but later pushed back the expectations to October.

2. 테슬라에서는 독일에 설립된 보험회사를 통해 독일과 유럽연합의 다른 고객들에게도 보험을 제공할 예정입니다.

 

Tesla has founded an insurance company in Germany and will soon be able to offer branded insurance to its customers both in the country and other countries of the European Union. The company has already launched its insurance product in several US states as part of its ongoing expansion. The insurance rate for car owners will be calculated using real-time driving behavior.

3. 중국에서는 중고 테슬라 모델Y 가격이 원래 구매 가격보다 약 3,800달러 높아졌습니다.

 

또한 중국의 비즈니스 저널 CnEVPost 에 의하면, 테슬라 차량 인기가 너무 많아 중고차로 들어오자마자 판매되고 있다고 하네요. 

According to a study by several car sales platforms in China, used Tesla Model Y prices are higher than the original purchase price. Now owners can get about $3,800 more than what they paid.

"The only used NEVs in our store right now are Tesla vehicles, and they are selling like hotcakes, basically selling one for every one that comes in," China Business Journal (via CnEVPost) quoted a used car dealer. The data shows that consumer perceptions of used NEVs vary, with Tesla cars being popular and priced above their original cost.
