1. 중국에서의 6월 모델Y 판매량은 5만 2,150대로 작년 대비 1만 1,623대보다 348.7% 증가한 수치입니다.

 

Tesla Model Y sales in China in June were 52,150 units, up 348.7% from 11,623 units a year ago, according to data from the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA). It makes it the best-selling SUV in the country in the past month. That was an impressive 20,363 more than its nearest competitor was able to sell, which was BYD Song, placing second. The Chinese SUV registered only 31,787 units. A lot of automakers in China have been affected by the COVID-19 lockdown, which halted production. Disruptions in the supply chain prevented the restoration of production until at least mid-May. Nevertheless, Tesla, as always, showed its professionalism and masterfully coped with the difficulties. Already in June, Giga Shanghai managed to produce a record number of cars for the factory.

Production at Tesla Giga Shanghai is in Plaid mode. Having significantly increased production in June, the factory does not slow down. Now, thousands of vehicles have been spotted in the port of Shanghai, ready to ship.

Tesla never ceases to amaze. During a very difficult Q2, when Giga Shanghai was experiencing serious production problems due to the COVID-19 lockdown, Tesla China did an excellent job, taking the factory's production to a new high level. So in June, Giga Shanghai delivered 78,906 vehicles, reaching an absolute record. This also means that the factory was producing over 2,630 cars daily, or over 1.8 cars every minute. This is 11% more than the previous record set in December 2021 of 70,847 vehicles. This high figure also shows that Giga Shanghai delivered 138% more vehicles, compared to 33,155 units a year ago.

3. 테슬라에서는 내년 사이버 트럭의 초기 생산을 위한 기반을 마련 중이라고 합니다. 

 

독일의 한 제조업체는 사이버 트럭 드라이브의 생산을 위한 새로운 시스템 주문을 받았고, 제작 중이며, 내년 7월 초 쯤에 오스틴에 배치될 예정이라고 합니다.

 

Citing industry sources, German publication TeslaMag.de reported that new systems for the production of Cybertruck drives had been ordered from German manufacturers. These manufacturers are reportedly familiar with Tesla’s vehicles and facilities, as they have also supplied components and machinery to Giga Berlin and Giga Shanghai. 

The needed machines for the Cybertruck are reportedly being built and are expected to be deployed in Gigafactory Texas around early July 2023. The machinery are reportedly capable of producing about 750,000 drives per year, which aligns somewhat with Elon Musk’s previous estimates for the Cybertruck. The CEO had mentioned that Tesla may initially target an annual production of 250,000 Cybertrucks per year.
