1. 테슬라는 중국 파크뷰 그린몰에 있는 쇼룸을 공식 폐쇄했습니다.
테슬라의 최근 전략은 임대비가 비싼 장소에 쇼룸을 오픈하는 것이 아니라(소매 비용 절감 목적) 유지 비용이 거의 들지 않는 지역에 새로운 매장을 열어, 서비스 센터로의 기능 제공할 수 있게 하는 것입니다.
참고로, 중국 채용 사이트에는 9월말 자료로 305명의 서비스직 채용 공고가 올라왔었습니다.
Tesla is putting an emphasis on Service needs after reportedly closing a flashy showroom in a luxury shopping mall in China. The move points toward the company’s potential strategy to trim costs by not renewing leases at pricey showroom locations, and instead opening new, dual-purpose locations in less expensive areas that can perform sales and service.
Cutting costs at the expensive and luxury locations will help shift Tesla’s strategy to focusing on opening new stores in locations that are not as costly to maintain. The new locations could also serve dually as a Service center, which is a part of the automotive business Tesla has struggled with for years. An increase in Service locations is needed as Tesla continues to sell more cars and demand for EVs across the board increases.

As part of that effort, Tesla has been hiring technicians and other staff for service jobs in China. The company's China recruitment website showed 305 openings for service jobs as of Wednesday, little changed from September.

이번주 화요일 직원들에게 보낸 이메일 내용을 보면 프리몬트와 기가 텍사스에서 생산되고 있는 모델Y 차량에는 'Comfort Suspension'이 포함된다고 합니다. (개인적으로는 매우 반가운 소식이네요 ^^)
컴포트 서스펜션은 핸들링에 영향을 주지 않고 더 편안함을 제공하는 개선된 서스펜션을 말합니다.
1) 기가 텍사스는 2022년 8월 29일 모델Y LR의 생산 라인 업데이트 후
2) 프리몬트는 일론이 트윗을 하기 10일 전인 2022년 10월 7일 모델Y LR 적용.
3) 프리몬트는 2022년 10월 11일에 모델Y Pf 에도 적용.
According to an email sent to employees on Tuesday Model Y cars being built at both Fremont and Giga Texas now include what Tesla is calling ‘Comfort Suspension.’
Giga Texas was first to implement the update to their Model Y Long Range production lines on August 29, 2022. The email does not say when the 4680 Model Y will receive the new suspension.
For Fremont, the changes apply to the Model Y Long Range, including both the 5-seater and 7-seater configurations, as of October 7, 2022, ten days before Musk published his tweet.
Additionally, any Model Y Performance built on or after October 11, 2022 also has the Comfort Suspension.

The company is also offering a limited time promotion where customers will only have to pay €1 for the Starlink hardware. The remaining balance will be billed to the customer’s account 30 days after the service is activated, unless the customer opts to cancel and return the equipment within those 30 days.

개인적으로는 어제 아주 살짝 고민을 해봤는데 자주 사용하는 트위터를 보다 편리하게 이용할 수 있다면 충분히 지불할 것 같다는 결론을 내렸습니다 ^^
