Reuters report.
LGES, which supplies batteries to EV makers like Tesla and Lucid, had a successful 2022. The battery maker posted KRW 25.6 trillion (USD20.7 billion) in consolidated revenue and KRW 1.2 trillion (USD974 million) in operating profit in 2022. The company is also aiming to see a 25-30% increase in annual revenue and over 50% increase in capital expenditure this 2023.

Tesla started deploying its first software update of 2023 earlier this week, version 2023.2.0.5, with the release notes indicating two updates related to Sentry Mode and the heated steering wheel. However there was an undocumented feature also bundles in the update related to the cabin camera.
The cabin camera has been around since the Model 3 launched in 2017, but it sat dormant until 2021 when Tesla turned it on to use it for driver monitoring. It gained another use late last year when for the first time Tesla allowed owners to actually use it themselves to look inside the car when Sentry Mode or Dog Mode were active. Owners were limited however to only viewing the cabin camera feed from the mobile app, but Tesla has now added the ability to look at the camera feed from within the car.

Tesla is continuing its expansion into Israel and secured a lease on a property in North Netanya for the first permanent installation. The company will use the space as a sales and service center according to a report by local publication Globes.
The property was originally for sale, but Tesla signed a long term lease on the over 3,300 square meters of space per sources of Globes. This will be the first permanent showroom in the country for Tesla.
