1. 삼성전자가 테슬라 자율주행 칩 수주 전에서 대만의 TSMC 를 제치고, HW 4.0을 위탁생산하게 되었습니다.

 

잘 아시다시피, HW4.0 은 내년 2분기부터 테슬라 차량에 장착되어 자율주행에 관련된 데이터를 처리할 중요 반도체입니다.

 

따라서, 삼성전자는 경기 화성 등에 있는 7nm 공정에서 칩을 생산할 계획이라고 합니다.

2. 프리몬트 경찰국에서 모델Y를 추가 배치했습니다.

 

이곳에서는 2019년에는 모델S를 배치한 적이 있습니다.

 

Fremont Police Department officially announced the deployment of its Tesla Model Y to the police fleet. The results of an earlier pilot program proved the effectiveness of electric vehicles, which was the reason for the expansion of the EV fleet.

Tesla Model Y is the Department's latest addition to its eco-friendly fleet of over forty vehicles. Compared to the Model S 85 deployed in 2019, Model Y has even more advantages. The vehicle can operate from one to two patrol shifts per charge and cover an additional 61 miles per charge while maintaining the same projected cost of ownership.

3. 테슬라가 최근 바이든 행정부에 'NHTSA 가 트럼프 대통령의 조치를 즉각 철회해야 할 것'을 제안했습니다.

 

이렇게 한 이유는, 자동차 회사들이 기업 평균 연비(CAFE) 요건을 준수하지 않을 경우 벌점을 2배 이상 늘려야 한다는 규제를 트럼프 대통령이 연기했었기 때문입니다. 

 

결국 테슬라의 요청은 기각됐지만, NHTSA 에서 자동차 업체들이 규제를 잘 지키도록 공지가 나갔습니다. 

Tesla is lobbying the administration of President Joe Biden and the U.S. Court of Appeals to increase fines for automakers who fail to comply with fuel economy requirements. Delaying a swift transition to environmentally friendly vehicles should be punished accordingly.

The U.S. sets requirements for vehicle emissions that must be met by automakers. However, not all of them act accordingly, delaying the transition to more environmentally friendly vehicles. As a company whose mission is to accelerate the world's transition to sustainable energy, Tesla cannot remain indifferent to this situation.

The Trump administration, in its final days in January, postponed a 2016 regulation that more than doubled the penalties for automakers failing to comply with the Corporate Average Fuel Economy (CAFE) requirements. Under former President Barack Obama, higher penalties were due to start in the 2019 model year, but Trump set the effective date as the 2022 model year. At the moment, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) is considering the possibility of reinstating the Obama rule.

In April, a court rejected Tesla's request for immediate action pending NHTSA consideration. On August 18, the NHTSA issued a notice saying it could impose higher penalties for previous model years for automakers that did not meet fuel efficiency requirements after reviewing public comments. Automakers have warned that hiking penalties could cost them at least $1 billion annually, both for failing to meet the rules and higher prices for credits used to meet the rules.

4. 인도에서 모델3의 출시가 지연되고 있습니다. 이유는 차량의 바디 디자인이 낮기 때문입니다.

 

모델3는 115mm 인데, 인도의 규제는 140mm 이상입니다. 그래서 모델Y 의 출시가 더 빠를 것으로 예상되고 있습니다.

 

개인적으로는 '쉬운 국가가 하나 없구나' 라는 생각입니다.

Tesla’s Model 3 sedan has a ground clearance that is too low for Indian roads, according to a new report. The vehicle’s low body design may slow its launch in India, where the sedan has been testing for nearly two months.

A report from AutoCar India indicates that the Tesla Model 3 has a ground clearance of 115 millimeters, just 25 mm too low for Indian roads. According to the report, Tesla will have to increase the ride height to at least 140 mm for the Model 3 to be approved for operation on India’s roads, meaning the Model Y may launch before the sedan does.

5. 캐시 우드가 블룸버그 뉴스를 통해 '만약 우리의 전망이 달라지지 않는다면, 내년에 테슬라 주가가 3,000달러가 될 것인데. 우리는 그 때 테슬라 주식을 떠날 것으로 예상한다'라고 말했습니다.

 

“If nothing were to change in our outlook and we got to $3,000 next year, my guess is that we would be peeling out of it,” Wood said, via Bloomberg News. The $3,000 price target was set by ARK on Tesla stock in March. “This project is our base case for TSLA’s stock price in 2025 based on our Monte Carlo analysis,” ARK analysts wrote in their most recent breakdown of Tesla in March. The astronomical price target was supported by ARK’s view that Tesla’s general product line will begin to expand, supported by increased manufacturing capabilities as the company builds more Gigafactories. Additionally, Tesla’s in-house insurance program, which is set to expand to Texas as soon as next month, also boosted ARK’s outlook by $60 per share.

개인적으로는 3,000달러 정도의 주식 가격이 되면, 엄청난 혁신을 일으키는 기업을 좋아하는 캐시 우드가 봤을 때 테슬라가 안정적 흐름에 안착했다고 판단하기에 매도 포지션에 대해 언급한 것이 아닌가 생각되네요.

 

기관과 달리 우리 개인이 취할 수 있는 포지션과 선택은 다양하기 때문에, 지금부터 걱정과 우려의 시각으로 바라볼 필요는 없다는 생각입니다. 

 

우선 3,000 달러 되고 봅시다.
